What differentiates FortiManager from other similar products?

The policy-based automation and zero touch provision reducing manual configuration errors at the same time speeding up deployment of new firewalls The configuration revision control , rollback capabilities and change tracking and this helps our firm to track changes and still revert configurations when something breaks which is critical in finance as network changes must be documented and any change must be audited.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Automation which reduces human errors and this improves network stability and security

What do you dislike most about this product?

Only works best in Fortinet environment and is not ideal for multi-vendor environments making firms require additional management tools

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use this tool only if your firm mostly uses Fortinet firewalls and security devices to avoid need for additional management tools

What differentiates FortiManager from other similar products?

FortiManger is only limited to Fortinet Solutions. FortiManger can integrated with Fortinet solutions. It has centralized management console to mange multiple Fortigate Firewalls or other devices also. Unique features of Automation in configuration of HUB and Spoke Topologies VPNs, i.e Overlay VPN configuration. Policies can be pushed from single console to multiple Devices. It is helpful for mass deployment.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its best for Mass deployment of Firewalls like SDWAN deployment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Policy level configuration from Individual fortigate firewall is not auto updated in fortimanger. That will be better if its possible.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your requirement is about managing multiple branch firewalls. And want to implement SDWAN. This is the best choice for mass deployment and automate deployment process using centralized policies.
