What differentiates FortiClient from other similar products?

It is one of the best vpn out there , used in my office for connecting to servers hosted in office , it is easy to setup , easy to use , configurations are very easy , just put your IP, username, password and you are ready to go.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The FortiClient works consistently and rarely needs any intervention. It is easy to install. It offers variety of features. The customer support is also good. You can also integrate with other softwares.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is time and character-sensitive. You can sometimes have difficulties with login or connecting remotely to your applications. In these cases, you need to ask for assistance from the Help Desk which can influence your performance and productivity.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

recommended to al my friend use this FortiClient FW in their company for best practices and control.

FortiClent solutions is stand out due to its tight integration with Fortinet’s Security Fabric, offering a single unified agent for multiple security functions. It can be used for SSL VPN, ZTNA, Enables centralized visibility, policy enforcement.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It combines VPN, antivirus, web filtering, application firewall, and ZTNA in a single lightweight client. With FortiEMS, administrators can easily push configurations, manage policies, and get detailed reporting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The free version has very limited functionality advanced features like ZTNA, EMS integration, and detailed telemetry require a paid license.Some users report intermittent disconnections or slowdowns with the VPN, especially during large file transfers.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The free version offers basic features, but enterprise-grade functions like central management, posture check, and detailed logging require a licensed version. Evaluate your security needs before deciding on the edition.Provide basic training for users on connecting VPN, interpreting alerts, and ensuring device compliance.
