What differentiates FortiClient from other similar products?

It is a solution that differs from others because it offers the user three key points for the protection of business endpoints, fully proactive visibility, defense and control, it has an easy administration and implementation since it is administered centrally with Enterprise Manager Server, has the ability to mitigate threats that could not be repaired, and alert those infected endpoints so that an outbreak does not take place, it is ideal to have a secure remote access because it brings a VPN, in addition ensures malware detection based on patterns and behavior.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the one that has an easy administration and implementation, which is able to avoid or stop the spread of an outbreak to other endpoints since this means less damage, which allows the management of vulnerabilities and the compliance of endpoints through vulnerability scanning and endpoint attack surface reduction, plus integrates with FortiSandbox to detect zero day threats and custom malware.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Adding new equipment is somewhat tedious so it takes time in this process, its cost is somewhat unbalanced because some functions require a higher payment, its updates are not automatic and the one that would be a great time saving.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a key solution to access remotely because its VPN maintains user protection, as well as its integration with other products and its high-performance features guarantee general protection of business endpoints.

What differentiates FortiClient from other similar products?

FortiClient differs from other software because it has a simple implementation and usability, this is because it runs outside the default scanning and firewall configurations provided by FortiGate, its administration is simple and it provides complete information in a dashboard about the status of the client, is able to provide high protection that includes visibility, monitoring and evaluation of the risks of the terminals, which guarantees that the risks to which the endpoints are exposed are mitigated and reduced, in addition to its powerful integration with other Fortinet software enhances your protection even more.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The function that I find the most striking of this software is that by integrating with Security Fabric, cuts can be avoided since automated policies are generated, which has a simple implementation, since time is saved and training is not necessary, also not It only acts as endpoint protection software but is also ideal for secure remote access thanks to the fact that it provides a VPN.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The installation of its new versions may take time since it is not updated automatically, in addition, your connection sometimes fails but recovers quickly, however a more stable connection generates more confidence.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

FortiClient is software that is easy to implement and administer, which makes it ideal for a business level, since while it focuses on productive activities, the endpoints are being protected by this software as well as its remote access.
