Smart unified DLP protection.

What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?
A lot of DLP tools generate too many alerts, and end up chasing false positives. It does a better job of prioritizing incidents based on risk so i can focus on what actually matters instead of everything.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It actually looks at how users interact with data and adjusts its response based on risk. So instead of blocking everything and frustrating users it can warn them ask for justification or only step in when something truly risky happens.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I feel the interface could be more user friendly. It has all the features but navigating and managing policies isn’t always straight forward.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Focus on good data classification and avoid enabling everything at once. Also train users and balance security with performance to get the best results.

Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention from other similar products?
Offers over 1,500 out-of-the-box templates and policies mapped to global compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS), making setup faster and audit-friendly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
This feature goes beyond traditional rule-based DLP by dynamically adjusting data protection policies based on user behavior and risk level. It helps strike the right balance between security and user productivity—minimizing false positives while still preventing data loss. By continuously analyzing context and intent, RAP allows security teams to focus on genuine threats without overwhelming them with noise. This intelligent approach truly sets Forcepoint DLP apart from other solutions.
What do you dislike most about this product?
While the platform is powerful and highly customizable, setting it up correctly requires in-depth knowledge and can be time-consuming. The user interface could be more intuitive, especially for new administrators, and managing exceptions or creating precise rules often involves a steep learning curve. Additionally, updates and troubleshooting sometimes require vendor support, which can slow down issue resolution.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Forcepoint DLP is feature-rich but can be complex. Ensure your IT/security team is well-trained or certified to handle configuration and policy management.
