What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Quickly improve visibility and insight across all security events including WAF signatures hit, DoS events, automated and persistent threats, and all other client interactions along with app performance, including intuitive drill-down capabilities.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What differentiates F5 Distributed Cloud WAF from other similar products?

In F5 distributed cloud WAF's is web application firewall security software which has good irules configuration and is easy to identify the events and customise the ruls. Cyber attacks such as DDOS attack can be successfully prevented by enabling the Ddos prevention. The user interface is interesting with graphical user interface. With the support of load balancing feature we can manage our web application server to perform operation optimally.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I am impressed on modules like Ddos prevention , User management and assign the user role helps to track the activity, irule configuration able the admin user to write a rules for the WAF, signature updates are done periodically which keeps the security appliance up-to-date.

What do you dislike most about this product?

More features regarding the traffic analysis would be a helpful for the analyst to analyse the traffic. Resolution and response time need to be optimised to provide the timely solution which improves the customer experience with the service.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For the web application servers this is the essential network security tool which helps to mitigate against latest cyber attacks such as DDOS attack which is responsible for server unavailability. Load balance monitor the incoming traffics optimally to your network.

What differentiates F5 Distributed Cloud WAF from other similar products?

The differentiator is how well it integrates with the broader F5 ecosystem. Companies already using BIG IP or other F5 solutions can extend security policies and visibility without redesigning their architecture. That hybrid security flexibility is something many competitors still struggle to deliver cleanly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its ability to provide centralized security management across hybrid and multi cloud environments without adding operational complexity. Managing security policies separately for on prem, cloud and edge applications is usually a headache but F5 makes it much more streamlined.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike most about it is that the platform can still feel complex during advanced policy configuration and troubleshooting. While the SaaS deployment simplifies infrastructure management, fine tuning security rules, custom routing and application policies sometimes requires a fairly deep understanding of the F5 ecosystem.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I’d recommend it mainly for enterprises that need strong security controls, scalability and hybrid cloud flexibility rather than just a basic plug and play WAF solution.
