Why Enonic Deserves a Closer Look

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Enonic from other similar products?

The important strength is its built-in application development capability. Enonic is not just a content management system; it also allows developer to build and deploy web application directly on the platform. And scalability and performance are also key differentiator. The platform is designed to support enterprise-grade digital experience with high traffic and complex content structure.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The aspect I value is the ability application directly on the platform. This reduce the need for multiple disconnected systems and helps streamline development efforts. And it’s a platform that tries to stay powerful without becoming cumbersome–and that balance is what often makes teams stick with it once they adopt it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The thing I’ve seen come up is that this flexibility, while powerful, can sometimes lead to different implementation style between teams. And because it’s quite developer-centric, less technical stakeholders can occasionally feel a but further removed compared to more editor-focused platforms.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The practical recommendation is to invest early in developer enablement and onboarding Teams that take the time to understand how Enonic handles content modelling, APIs, and application logic tend adopt it much more effectively. And from a client relationship perspective, I would also recommend framing Enonic internally as a digital experience platform rather than just a CMS replacement.

  • Continually Improving Product

  • Trustworthy

An advanced digital experience

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Enonic from other similar products?

It is an ideal platform for omnichannel delivery with embedded databases and flexible deployments with a modular architecture, which is enough for Enonic to differentiate itself from others.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspects would be the multi-domain support ability and designing pages with a drag-and-drop facility. This has improved my digital experience to a great extent by being a single and scalable platform. I am able to do split-screen editing and get live feedback. It also provides its own Enonic Cloud with 24/7 monitoring.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can be complex sometimes, and has a limited number of third-party integrations.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would suggest one start with a limited-scope pilot project as it will reduce risk while doing validation, and bring developer ease. Also, make sure to integrate it into your pipeline and cloud infrastructure for a smooth deployment process.
