Easy to use, but needs a few critical features
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Ecwid from other similar products?
Ecwid is easy to use and integrates well with websites, both already established as well as those newly created.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to integrate into my company’s website I created
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wish that Ecwid had its own self-contained feature to seamlessly export Order History to a Google Sheets document without having to use an outside app. The current available outside app (Zapier) doesn’t work well or consistently and I’m having to download the CSV file manually periodically on my own. This creates added steps and a lack of ability to keep this information current for all departments in our company.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend using or creating smaller sized images that are cropped to a consistent size so that the image sizes are uniform on each product page. Currently, there is no consistency on the size of the images or an easy way to size them to a consistent size. Currently, this has to be done on the developing end of the process before you upload the images to Ecwid.

What differentiates Ecwid from other similar products?
We use Ecwid for our catalog website. It is incredibly intuitive and easy to manage, as well as very cost-effective compared to the alternatives. The support team is fantastic, and they have a good library of application add-ons.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ease of management and implementation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
My one and only detractor is with the breadth of customization available. We don't need e-commerce functionality, but it was cumbersome to get the "add to cart" CTA changed to a "Request Pricing" link leading to a pop-up form. They also don't currently offer what we call "conditional logic" when selecting product configurations. For example, if you were to sell blue shirts in medium and large and red shirts in small and medium, users are still able to select blue shirts in small and red shirts in large. Ideally, we'd be able to "gray" out the large option for the red shirts and the small option for the blue shirts.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Continue to improve the breadth of customization available in the platform. Not much else outside of that recommendation. As stated previously, the support team is fantastic, the product is incredibly easy to use and implement, and it looks very clean on the front end. All things considered, we'd definitely recommend Ecwid.
