What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It offers a responsive and functional mobile experience on the go. I can easily go through sales metrics regularly from my phone. The granular permission system is very secure as it ensures that the data is visible only to the right people. It allows us to control and give access to data according to our wants. Furthermore, I can easily customize views with the help of charts and page-level filters.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Initial onboarding of Domo is challenging, especially if we are not familiar with its functioning before. Report-building sometimes demands a deep understanding of data modules or query logic. The charting options need to be more flexible and visually customizable.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Determine your priority to make it best compatible for your use. Make sure it integrates well with your data sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, data lakes, APIs, or third-party platforms.

What differentiates Domo from other similar products?

DOMO is very user-centric because of the ease of use and the possibility of extensive customizations, right from the themes to the placement, appearance and functionality for each element we create on the dashboard. This enables the end users and developers to go beyond creating regular reports and explore exciting new features based on the dataset and business requirements.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect of this product is that I can drill down into each element of each segment and grasp all the aspects of it, allowing me to understand a completely new dashboard. As developers, we are often required to modify or enhance existing dashboards, where we were not a part of the initial development. With DOMO, we can not only expand each element into its components, check all its features in themes.css or any related JavaScript code, but also create our own in parallel. It saves a lot of time and unnecessary effort in hit-and-trial methods, that is otherwise required.

What do you dislike most about this product?

With heavier features, the response time is often negatively impacted. Sometimes, it takes ages to load some of the elements in the dashboard, while others get loaded much faster. This makes it appear inconsistent, and it can be hard to correctly pinpoint the source of the delay when there is a lot of code involved in the functionality. Often, because such cases involve newer features that are achieved after much effort and workarounds, improving the performance so that it loads consistently with the other simpler elements in the dashboard can be very daunting.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend considering an overall view of what results are expected from it to make a more informed choice. It is better to compare it with other products and gauge which would be the best one to go for based on all the requirements. Secondly, I would recommend getting familiarised with the tool at first and understanding that getting the best out of it often depends on the vision, imagination and efforts put behind building a really great dashboard.

Domo unlocks the safe that appears to contain the data that is locked in the IT/IS department. Executives can also choose the data format they require with this software. Another great feature is the ability to connect multiple data sources to create visualizations that support decisions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really appreciate how Domo consistently provides insightful, clear, and practical advice. It helps my team make better, more timely, fact-based decisions. By using Domo, a business analytics platform, my company can monitor our OKRs. Insightful data is provided to teams so they can make an impact.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Mastering the intricacies of the program and learning how to write cards requires a significant investment of time. Connecting and updating all of our data with Domo's systems was also a huge task. It is imperative that you have the necessary IT help to complete this phase of the project; Otherwise, you may experience significant delays.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

These issues can be quickly and easily communicated to the appropriate parties thanks to this program, which we are using to detect any difficulties. Instead of spending all their time creating reports on data that our IT department couldn't access, our analytics provider was able to free up their time to work on other initiatives.
