What differentiates Deltek Costpoint from other similar products?

The convenience at which we can use the merchandise for our earned value certification. I enjoy however the product integration with different programs. There aren’t any competitors once it involves earned value management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I prefer how easy the layout was, it makes it super simple for anyone to use and find what they are looking for. The Deltek platform permits us to schedule individuals and resources for projects and review what’s necessary. I prefer deltek because the planning tool I sued allowed me to perform my duties effectively. Manage my projects and report on them with ease.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Generally, the program is a little quirky however information is integrated and errors are reviewed. Having to close the program and log back in can become a bother. You need to be able to pay the time to learn how to use this tool, and it’s most helpful if you understand it from both an accounting and PM perspective.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The system is straightforward to use. It documented data easily, which allowed you to retrieve it later on. This can be a wonderful tool for creating top-quality schedules, managing costs, and mitigating project risk for projects of any size.

What differentiates Deltek Costpoint from other similar products?

This product works great for the government contracting world as it is the easiest way to bill the customer but from a time keeping perspective it is terrible. It is an ancient system and needs upgrading.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Works well to bill the government customers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The timekeeping features from an employee and HR user perspective are ancient.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Only use if you absolutely have to.
