‎While using Deltek Costpoint, it doesn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all solution that requires heavy customization, but instead, it already includes the specific tools needed to manage our complex contracts, project lifecycles, and compliance requirements.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

‎I appreciate being able to see how each project is performing at any given time, which supports better decision-making and helps prevent cost overruns. This level of transparency provided is something I consider essential, particularly in project-driven environments. Overall, the ability to manage and analyze projects so effectively within a single system is what I find most impressive and useful about Deltek Costpoint.

What do you dislike most about this product?

‎I feel the reporting functionality could be more flexible and modern. While it is powerful, generating customized reports isn’t always as straightforward as I would like, and it sometimes requires extra effort or technical knowledge.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

In my view, this system delivers the most value when compliance, project accounting, and contract management are critical to your operations. I’d recommend evaluating integration needs early on, as ensuring smooth integration from the beginning will save time and effort later.
