What differentiates Datadog from other similar products?

Pretty much on par with others. Main product monitoring rather than apm which is done really nice. Good graphics and dashboards. Agents easy to install.

Price, I don’t understand their price model.

There are many others in the field, make sure you check all of them before you invest in it.
