What differentiates Contentful from other similar products?

The content management system Contentful is really simple to use and understand. Editors and content managers will find Contentful incredibly user-friendly, with all functionalities easily accessible. Content can be written and modified fast because the content management system is easy to use. Large and small websites both benefit from content. Multiple users with varying permissions can be added to the system, making it ideal for businesses and online retailers. To ensure that users are getting the most out of the platform, Contentful provides a wealth of support resources. There is probably even a translation function.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Training new hires on the content management system doesn't require a lot of resources because it is a fairly simple system to master. Content creation and editing are incredibly simple and rapid. Editors may produce and manage material with ease with this method. Together with site-wide modifications in developer mode, Contentful allows for the easy building of landing pages with minimal effort. This implies that we won't always need to go via IT and can respond to client requests promptly. In the analytics section, we have the ability to gather both our own site data and standard third-party technologies.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Since there are many functionalities concealed behind the simple interface, not everything can be seen at a glance. With so few filter options, it can occasionally be challenging to locate the desired page. If you are unsure of the page's specific name or ID, the search feature is not the best option. The content editing system's modules and tabs are complicated; you have to open each tab separately in order to view all of the content in the system. Our onboarding and implementation process has taken a very long time, and several development resources have been exhausted. Even the setup for the rollover was unclear at first.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

In order to provide clients with the option of building landing pages in addition to regular SEA support (the all-around package), we employ the tool as a CMS. Because of this, we are able to offer many smaller customers who do not have IT as their background very good and efficient service. Our own blog, which is also powered by Contentful, allows editors ample latitude to produce unique content. In my role, I maintained data and content for an app. I was able to get started straight away without a long familiarisation period. It was possible to maintain the data quickly. This meant I could see whether my data had been entered correctly.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable

The perfect solution for content management.

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Contentful from other similar products?

What really makes Contentful different from other similar solutions is its focus on building and delivering omnichannel content. It doesn't matter if I want to use it for my blog, my website or to develop a mobile application; Contentful fits each of my needs. It's actually versatile and that's something I value radically.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What fascinates me most about Contentful is its flexibility. I can completely personalize my experience, adapting the program to my specific needs. I don't have to settle for predefined templates, but can design my own workflow and content composition. This allows me to save time and obtain more efficient results.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While there are few things I dislike about Contentful, I do feel that the initial setup process can be a bit difficult for less experienced users. However, once this phase is over, everything flows wonderfully.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ultimately, I would recommend Contentful to anyone looking for a comprehensive and versatile content management tool. Not only is it beginner-friendly, but it also provides enough advanced features to satisfy the needs of more experienced users. This program has revolutionized the way I manage my content and has saved me a lot of time and effort.

The best headless CMS currently available

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Contentful from other similar products?

An enterprise content management system, or more accurately, a content data architecture, is called Contentful. To test the CMS, Contentful provides a free community version. The option is unique to none other enterprise provider. The Compose module is my favorite because it finally fixes every WebApp drawback, such the fact that each content element opens a new browser window. Prior to publication, major releases can be planned and tested with the App Launch. I really appreciate Contentful's global reach; it functions flawlessly in China, and we experienced no performance issues during the opening of an international trade show.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

While I personally only use Contentful for creating dynamic emails, the entire firm makes use of all of its features. Thanks to the modular structure, even I, a layman, can simply design an email template by dragging and dropping elements, and I can always see the final product in the preview. Each of the available components is simple enough for everyone to comprehend. For any kind of email layout, practically everything is available, including text blocks, CTAs, and photo blocks. Contentful allows for the seamless integration of dynamic content, such a customized greeting or the addition of a crucial reference number from another system.

What do you dislike most about this product?

All I'm lacking is a real-time preview of my system modifications. As of right now, it opens in a new window. Nevertheless, there are other extensions and fixes available to address the issue. Of course, there are some restrictions on the modular elements, so you can't arrange them whatever you'd like. Placing two CTAs next to each other rather than one below the other would be one example. Really, these are just little details. I don't have any complaints regarding Contentful overall.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Whatever their level of experience, any employee can create and fill out a beautiful email. We also have a tight continuous integration (CI), so if everyone designs material from fresh, there's always a need to double-check everything, and naturally, anomalies will always be discovered. Since we have our CI stored in Contentful, sending an email is a piece of cake. The CTAs consistently use the appropriate color, the words have the appropriate size and typeface, and the administrator has previously put up the legal footer for each user. Excellent and a huge time-saver for all operational colleagues.
