What differentiates Concord Cloud File Transfer from other similar products?

It works inside Outlook which is where I live all day. I'm a Chief Engineer at Volvo so I send big CAD files around and not having to switch to some other platform is just convenient. It’s pretty seamless honestly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that I can see who opened my stuff. Last month I sent a suspension layout to our suppliers and noticed a couple never opened it. So I chased them. That saved me from finding out later they missed it. Really handy for keeping things moving.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The interface feels super dated and it loads slow sometimes which makes me panic thinking my file is corrupt. That happened once and I wasted an hour re-uploading.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Use the Outlook plugin for sure and get IT to help with setup. Their docs are decent though so keep those around.

What differentiates Concord Cloud File Transfer from other similar products?

Concord Cloud File Transfer works directly with Microsoft Outlook. I use Outlook every day, so I can send files right there without having to go to any other platform. Its network wide integration with the other platforms as well as the Outlook makes it pretty much manageable to make the file transfers more easy and reliable.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of this product is the way we can keep a track of all our files and assets. I know who opened the file and when. Last week I sent an important note, and I noticed that only half of the students had opened it. So I sent a follow-up email to the rest. It has greatly facilitated me with so many features that does not require shifting to much apps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The interface is very old and cumbersome which is something that I dislike most about this product. They should update it into some modern interface. Its huge loading time also sometimes indicates of the files as corrupts which has majorly affected my personal working too.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My major recommendation to someone considering this product is to definitely use the Outlook plugin. Get help from your IT team when setting up initially, otherwise you will also get confused like me and read their help documentation, it is very useful.
