What differentiates Commvault Disaster Recovery from other similar products?

CommVault was the pioneer of Disaster Recovery (DRaaS), along with IBM.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

A quick and easy to use and navigate. Takes a while to migrate/implement, but is worth it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The main limitation to the product is that it only restores O365 data into O365. For most companies having a true DR/Business Continuity, this product is missing a way to fully recover O465 or Egnyte to an alternate site for users to access if MS Exchange Online is down, or Egnyte. Please contact your vendor at negotiation or preliminary discussions about that alternative.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

CommVault uses a sub DRaaS called Metallic.io, which is what we heavily use. The big feature needed on both products would be to discuss Disaster Recovery Options/Business Continuity while negotiating with your 3rd party vendor.

In addition to its success in backup operations, you can create your own automation processes with the workflow option and some software knowledge. We actively create and use Workflow.
