Excellent project management tool

What differentiates ClickUp from other similar products?
ClickUp provides a comprehensive project management tool. It can easily accommodate a portfolio of projects. It makes the tracking of project performance down to a deliverable level easy.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The automation around reporting, and the ability to have multiple project participants easily manage their own deliverables, but that this rolls up at a portfolio level.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The level of integration and complexity associated with its functionality means you cannot just intuitively understand all of its functionality. However, this is easily managed through investing time in the online training that comes with the software, which is relatively comprehensive.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Speak with the team. They can easily provide you with access to trial software so you can get a better understanding of what it looks like, and how it might apply in your organisation. We enjoyed a great collaboration with the team to customise it for our requirements. Both organisations benefited from this outcome.

Probably one of the best task management platforms

What differentiates ClickUp from other similar products?
The user interface is very intuitive and highly customisable. It can be used for both daily task management and roll up to projects. Other platforms are expensive and complicated to understand the architecture, which Clickup isn't.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is well priced for the features you get. It's also very easy to track daily tasks against projects to complete timesheets. Sitting tasks in multiple lists is also great
What do you dislike most about this product?
The lack of Excel export on Business plan. The feature to cost ratio used to be great, but has been increasingly degrading. If you could export to excel on the Business plan it would be perfect. In reality, not everyone in my org will use clickup, so I need to easily export to Excel and this ultimately why I haven't adopted long term and will switch to Microsoft products supported by my org.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
You need to have others onboard to get the full potential out of Clickup. Also getting training on dashboards at the start would be a good idea. It's hands down the best platform of it's type, excepting the Excel export.

What differentiates ClickUp from other similar products?
Clickup stands out for its customizable views, which allows users to adapt to their preferred workflow which is not available in other project management tools. Also the task dependencies and time tracking are seamless which allows teams to stay organized

The Ui is clean and easy to use, which makes it easy to navigate. With features like customizable views, task dependencies and time tracking, making it easier to manage a project or a task and stay organised
What do you dislike most about this product?
Clickup has a lot of features and customization options which makes it feel a little complicated for new users and takes a lot of time of time to getting used to using it
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend taking time to explore Clickup features gradually as there are a lot of features to learn about and this way it wont feel overwhelming
