What is Check Point Email Security? Avanan is now Check Point Email Security, a cloud email security platform that pioneered and patented a new approach to prevent sophisticated attacks. The platform uses APIs to block phishing, malware, and data leakage in the line of communications traffic. This means we catch threats missed by Microsoft while adding a transparent layer of security for the entire suite that also protects other collaboration tools like Slack.

What differentiates Check Point Email Security from other similar products?

Their pricing was per user per month and extremely simple.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It just works. We didn't have to change our MC records to implement it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Every 3 months or so we'll get a few emails slipping through the cracks; but perfection is unreasonable and they react quickly to support tickets.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Compare with competitors, it will pleasantly surprise you.

the automations of the daily tasks and the AI that use to detect phishing.

the url protection needs improvement.

Very easy to uses. Great for small teams. Very easy to install.

Using an API over MX record based spam filtering is a much better experience.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Avanan's Application is one of my favourite aspects.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It would be nice if it could tell users with the same name e-mailing from different domains better.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely consider Avanan. It is a great product to use.
