What is Check Point Email Security? Avanan is now Check Point Email Security, a cloud email security platform that pioneered and patented a new approach to prevent sophisticated attacks. The platform uses APIs to block phishing, malware, and data leakage in the line of communications traffic. This means we catch threats missed by Microsoft while adding a transparent layer of security for the entire suite that also protects other collaboration tools like Slack.

What differentiates Check Point Email Security from other similar products?

It's inline, behind Exchange Online ATP protection. It sees and monitors traffic inside my tenant. It picks up on and defends against many obfuscations that other filters don't see. My users just get significantly less spam and phishing assaults than they used to.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's so effective.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The interface shown to users (for example, when a suspicious e-mail is quarantined) is a little rough. It could use another graphic design pass.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try it inline, behind your existing protection, and see what it catches.

What differentiates Check Point Email Security from other similar products?

I don't know. I haven't used any similar products. But they have a reliable product, excellent support and good pricing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

That I no longer have to worry about a user clicking a malicious email link or entering credentials info a fake site from a phishin email.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you get a lot of unwanted spam, phishing and malicious emails, try Avanan out.
