Canvas is User-Friendly and Accessible!
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Canvas from other similar products?
Canvas is great because of how accessible it is to its users. It does a good job of making itself a central hub for all learning, which makes it easy to find various course information. Canvas has a great reputation in the industry, and that, in addition to its competitive pricing, makes it stand out against some of its competitors.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of the Canvas is its user-interface. I like how it allows me to organize content, such as adding folders and assigning tasks to the main screen. Perhaps its best feature is the ability for see potential scores that are needed to reach a certain overall class percentage. This makes learning much more tangible. The course modules also make for easy lesson-planning and course-pacing.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There aren't many downsides to Canvas, but if I had to choose one, it would have to be its Group and collaboration capabilities. These aren't bad by any means, but it does take a little bit of trial and error to quickly navigate these sections.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I highly recommend Canvas. It is easily accessible and helps keep content organized and users informed. I recommend looking up some user-interface videos online just to see an overall walkthrough of the platform before purchasing. This would help make sure it offers the specific capabilities you need. Also, I would make sure that you have plans for training, as Canvas is largely based on user-input. If users don't know how to input content, then you might find the platform lacking—by no fault of its own.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
