we configured rules to monitor CAD file transfers and flag unauthorized sharing attempts, ensuring our designs stay in-house. The reporting capabilities make audits a breeze.

What do you dislike most about this product?

occasional false positives can disrupt workflows, requiring manual intervention to fine-tune policies.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Implement CA DLP in phases, starting with critical systems, to reduce complexity. Pair it with robust employee training to minimize resistance and false positives

Unlike other DLP tools that just react to data breaches, CA DLP seems to proactively focus on understanding and categorizing your data before anything goes wrong.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

If I’m dealing with research data that doesn’t fit into typical financial or personal data categories, CA DLP still manages to flag it as sensitive based on context.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It’s not that it doesn’t work—it does—but I often find myself wishing for more detailed drill-down options when reviewing incidents

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The out-of-the-box settings are good, but the real value is in tailoring those policies to your specific data handling practices
