How to read the Emotional Footprint
The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
While purchasing decisions shouldn't be based on emotion, it's valuable to know what kind of emotional response the vendor you're considering elicits from their users.

Overall good, but it does need some improvements.

What differentiates Broadleaf Commerce from other similar products?
I have not used other similar products so I'm not really at liberty to comment on this.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
When the stars are aligned and everything works as it should, I really like the format of the sandbox. I will admit I am not high up enough on the chain to have access to some of the customizations, but the ones that I do have access to are formatted in a way that is pleasing to the eye in a clear concise table.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Day-to-day accessibility. This past year we have been having a steadily increasing amount of issues in browser accessibility. From trying to login to pulling the page up on different browsers just for it to stall and time out. Some days we are able to login normally via Chrome or Firefox, some days we have to pull the login up via the Chrome Incognito tab to avoid the time out. Sometimes we are simply locked out after 5 minutes mid process for unknown reasons. Support has been helpful in solving most of the issues, but prior to this year we had not had nearly this many issues with Broadleaf. Also, search / filter options are very limited.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would ask them to consider how much ease of access and accessibility affects their day to day processes. If their business is entirely reliant on this software, they need to ensure they have a backup or contingency plan in place for when, not if, it is inaccessible. This is going entirely off of our past years of experience with this software, I will admit that some issues could be the result of certain features that are used by our company in certain ways.
