What differentiates BMC Helix Remedyforce from other similar products?
Has a strong pre built ITIL based service management that ensure implementation of standardized ITSM practices swiftly and this helps a lot especially during audit trails and change management Strong workflow automation across different departments and this helps maintain compliance records The fat that it is built natively on Salesforce platform helping IT incidents to get linked to business services, ensuring that service desk flows integrate with operations, finance or HR workflows
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It’s integration with CRM as well as business processes since it is built on Salesforce making it integrate seamlessly with approval workflows, user databases, customer systems and business processes Perfect change management and incident management tracking both of which help my team to manage service requests, outages or maintenance within a controlled environment
What do you dislike most about this product?
This tool can be an overkill when dealing with simple NOC ticketing. For instance change approvals or opening tickets may require many fields when there is an outage thus slowing down operations
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
To speed up ticket creation, create simplified incident templates for instances such as ATM outages, app incidents or network outages
