The use of archimate as a must. EA is not TOGAF.

What differentiates BlueDolphin from other similar products?

BlueDolphin is optimized for planning. It treats architecture as a continuous delivery stream rather than a static map. It also allows sketching out free Shapes and preliminary models without immediately polluting the official repository.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of BlueDolphin is how it bridges the gap between technical architecture and goals. BlueDolphin changes that dynamic by making architecture collaborative and readable. I really like its edgy open source language, which is designed to be more intuitive than traditional rigid frameworks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

‎There are no inherent dislikes, as the platform’s limitations seem to be intentional design choices.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You should set clear naming conventions and modeling standards early. Perform weekly audits of new objects to keep the data clean and reliable. For me, BlueDolphin is truly a game-changer.

Shows where data originates, which processes use it, and which applications own it—helping analysts trust the numbers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If your organization’s data catalogue is poor or outdated, you’ll spend a lot of time curating it before the tool’s maps are trustworthy.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Create clear ownership of data assets and standards for metadata quality. This maximizes the platform’s value to analysts.
