What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?

Our digital marketing team is utilizing this software to facilitate communication. We have been able to recruit a strong team and maintain open lines of contact with members located all over the world.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Exceptionally user- and navigation-friendly. We've found that integrating with this API has helped us effectively manage the workload of numerous teams. We've experimented with alternative systems like Trello, which has its advantages, but needs a lot of time and effort from the team to understand and implement.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If I'm using the Android app, there are times when Basecamp doesn't send me a notice at all, but other than that, it's perfect.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a group project management tool, Basecamp performs admirably. It's especially useful when communicating across firms, or when personnel at different companies aren't in close proximity to one another. As remote employees, it has been quite useful for keeping our interactions and mails organized and in one place.

Basecamp organizes questions, comments, assignments, deliverables and approvals are tracked and organized seamlessly within the project. With Basecamp, you spend less time monitoring people and more time reviewing to-dos; it comes packed with everything you could possibly need to execute successful projects, quick updates and project timeline creation with notifications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Can link your existing files directly to Basecamp projects, keep track of all requirements and delivery of these requirements through Basecamp for clients, has access to a simple and streamlined interface and supports video and images within tasks, project cards allow for good organization, contains variety of add-ons to extend its capabilities.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Projects are inherently messy. Documents are in one place. Tasks are in another. Plans are driven by people. Although you shouldn't spend more time managing them than diligence on the actual work.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It works well whether it's sketch files in Adobe, documents and spreadsheets in Google Drive or folders in Dropbox, it's a better way to work. Executed projects are more productive and better organized. And project teams communicate better, require fewer meetings and are much more efficient - it's better if every schedule you have is unique. The more repeatable your projects are, the more time you'll spend recreating the same things over and over again for each startup.
