Works really well for windows environment, accessible from anywhere and low latency due to Azure regions being widespread

the per unit pricing is on the expensive side

Definitely go for it, since it is the best virtual windows solution out there

What differentiates Azure Virtual Desktop from other similar products?

Being in the microsoft eco-system already differentiates this from other leading products like Citrix Workspace which may do similiar VDI based product but as Office 365 hosts the rest of the data/apps/integrations and tools already, this is so much more easily scalable.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

GPU Enabled for virtual machines for consultants who have CAD or Heavy workloads, other products dont have this functionality

What do you dislike most about this product?

Compared to other products i think cost would be a factor of dislike compared to alternatives but this can be outweighed against being in Microsoft with the rest of Office 365 which positively tips the balance for us

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would research the different Series of VM's available like E, F, D and chose D as a Baseline, E for memory intensive workloads
