What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

the seamless integration with Azure services such as Azure Boards, Azure Repos, and Azure Pipelines provides a cohesive end-to-end solution for managing software development projects within the Azure cloud environment

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Azure DevOps is its robust CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) capabilities. In the sense that it enables us to automate the entire software delivery process from code commit to deployment, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Locating and configuring advanced pipeline triggers or setting up release gates may require digging through multiple menus and settings

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would highly recommend it!

What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?

Azure DevOps offers us a comprehensive solution for code repository, CI/CD pipelines, project tracking and management like Jira and also wiki for documents. It is very easy to use even for non-programmers as it offers a no-code platform for creating CI/CD pipelines, which is useful.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

With Azure DevOps we can manage our entire work process. Backlog items, tasks and bugs, code repositories and pull requests, code review, pipeline management, releases and CI/CD, testing, deployment and monitoring.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Costs can increase quickly, especially for long-duration experiments.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a single platform for all DevOps processes, Azure DevOps is excellent. It includes all the components necessary to create a product, including pipelines, work item boards, test and execution plans, and repositories. It applies to all businesses, large and small, for effective and efficient product management with full traceability built in.
