What differentiates Azure DevOps from other similar products?
Pipelines, testing requirements, and Azure Board are fantastic features all in one place. You will have drag and drop options when using pipelines to quickly design your CI/CD pipelines. You can actively handle your project management with the use of Azure Board. It aids in code storage, end-to-end deployment, and testing from the development to the production phases.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It continuously provides tool updates, allowing our code to stay in the most recent version everywhere. The best feature of it is how flexible it is in managing project-specific work items and monitoring the overall development of product and process developments. Additionally, it assists us in distinctly identifying and categorizing the various resource-level task items.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Another drawback of Azure DevOps is its poor User Interface, which can be seen in the Deployment Group UI. In the pools, VM Tags are stacked one on top of the other. The service agent that is built on demand has limitations. This might use some work.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Our sprint tickets are managed using Azure DevOps, which also gives our project managers access to the dashboard information. It's simple to construct a user narrative, assign it to the administrator, and then create a series of tasks to assign to the user for various duties like development, peer QA, final QA, etc.
Pros
- Helps Innovate
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
