What is AutoCAD?

AutoCAD is computer-aided design (CAD) software that is used for precise 2D and 3D drafting, design, and modeling with solids, surfaces, mesh objects, documentation features, and more. It includes features to automate tasks and increase productivity such as comparing drawings, counting, adding objects, and creating tables. It also comes with seven industry-specific toolsets for electrical design, plant design, architecture layout drawings, mechanical design, 3D mapping, adding scanned images, and converting raster images. What differentiates AutoCAD from other similar products?

Best software so far for making Layout designs and 2D drawings. Autocad created drawing or files are almost read by most of the mechanical software which is not true for similar products

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Easy to learn and implement the required design in autocad

What do you dislike most about this product?

very basic features, this procut is not much versatile, if you are using this software then you would definitely require advance design software

best use case for your layouts , plan plans, 2D drawings.

Consider to buy AutoCAD LT if it is used alongside BIM solutions to save some money as the extra features most likely won't be used in this situation.
