What differentiates Asana from other similar products?

Asana leaves me spoilt for choice , when it comes to project views. I can choose to manage or visualize whole projects or assigned tasks as lists , or as Kanban boards, portfolios, Gant charts or through my timeline. Having multiple viewing options, accommodates disparity in individual project management behaviour, across my company.. The different viewing options on Asana differentiates it from other project management products or programs.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Asana is a very flexible project management program, that can be customized and adapted to unique project management demands. This is the main reason why it is adopted in different departments and teams at my organisation. Need to mention too that having different departments within my company make use of the same project management program, has helped to facilitate inter-departmental collaboration .

What do you dislike most about this product?

Attaching large sized files to task is sometimes an hassle and it is tedious getting anything done on the mobile app. Beyond checking the status of tasks , due to the small size of mobile screens.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Advisable for new users to follow the Asana blog , to stay abreast of best practices and new provisions on the Asana platform..

What differentiates Asana from other similar products?

The ease of use makes it unique. The calendar view and the timeline view are. very useful for projects. I like the customization options.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the reminders feature that sends notifications on the pending tasks and their due date.

What do you dislike most about this product?

sometimes large files don't get attached to the tasks.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is worth trying. It is helpful when you are handling multiple projects and you have a large team to monitor. This tool will make your work a lot easier and more efficient.

One of the best tools for task and project management is Asana. You can communicate, organize, and control where each team member is in the various project tasks. Since we implemented it, we have been able to effectively manage projects and tasks and establish open communication between them and with the rest of the work team.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We use it to coordinate tasks, communicate as a team and build projects. In my opinion, one of Asana's strengths is its user interface, which is comprehensive, fluid and pleasant, allowing users to relax and enjoy themselves while preparing their projects. The ability to work in teams has greatly improved the quality and turnaround time of projects, which in turn has benefited many other aspects of the business.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Despite its many useful functions, I think the tool takes some getting used to before it can be used to its full potential.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Asana makes it easy to create, assign and comment on tasks. You can always see who is working on what and when. It has the option to receive notifications automatically. Its centralized location and features such as merging, duplicating and deleting tasks make it ideal for cross-functional teams working on multiple projects. It can be customized to suit your company's needs and is highly recommended.
