What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
Asana has shown us great benefits when importing information from databases. With this software it is very easy to organize all the work of our team (this includes notes, documentation, agendas, among others) and to be able to follow it correctly at all times.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Asana is very good at applying retrospective management, and its system of kanban boards makes it easy to navigate within the platform. It is useful to track the status of our project, as well as to track milestones, dependence, and time. Its campaign management system is very broad and customizable.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Your admission of the scrum method is relatively heavy, and does not allow you to properly prioritize each task. As regards audio and video conferences, these are non-existent, so communicating with the other members of our team becomes a bit slow.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Asana is great for keeping teams focused and in sync, but it's easy to fall into the trap of working outside of Asana with other tools (like spreadsheets) and then having to replicate in Asana. It was more of a business process challenge, but that was because Asana couldn't do everything we needed it to.

Ok for backlogging business tasks but not advanced

What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
There are no real differences - in general it looks similar to all other similar Project Management software but I would underline good UI and UX - often better than it is offered by competitors.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
As I said earlier - the user experience is really good and it is pleasure to work there due to very good UI
What do you dislike most about this product?
The thing which our team did not like is that originally we have been looking for an alternative to Jira which could be more used by business and development tasks, but for is it looked that in comparison to Jira there are not so many development-relared features, thus, it is not as good for development project management as for business tasks
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If your are planning to migrate to Asana for IT development - make sure that you could implement your existing process on Asana.
