What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I would advise others to use Blackboard Learn since it is a simple method to view your grades, courses, and assignments for the college courses you are enrolled in. Overall, I would suggest Blackboard, albeit there are some issues that can be rectified, such as the user interface to make it simpler for people to view certain things. The best feature is being able to access course materials, lectures and notes from your desktop, laptop or smartphone.

What do you dislike most about this product?

BlackBoard Learn needs a lot more clicks and testing to do any task than competing programs. The clumsy design strongly opposes both the learning-design preferences of Gen-Z students and the instructional delivery of instructors who are aware of what else is available.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are considering Blackboard Learn, I would recommend familiarizing yourself with the platform's interface and features before starting to use it. There is a lot of functionality that needs to be understood if you want to get the most out of the product. Additionally, take advantage of the resources available - tutorials and help centers can provide valuable guidance on how to get the most out of the system.

Blackboard offers an additional suite of services specifically tailored for higher education institutions. This includes ePortfolio creation and assessment tools, course design support and training resources, as well as access to rich media libraries. It also allows for student tracking and analysis, creating a learning experience that is tailored to the individual.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like is the features that help with student engagement. This includes discussion boards, quizzes and polls which allow students to interact with each other as well as their instructors in an online environment. Additionally, the learning path feature helps students keep track of what they have to do and when, making it easier for them to manage their workload. Furthermore, Blackboard Learn also offers a range of analytics tools that can be used to measure and assess student performance.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The platform does not immediately offer us that straightforward appearance, unlike its competitors in the market, therefore it may be challenging at first to navigate through the many menus, pages, and courses. However, it may be avoided if, for instance, our school or institution provides us with a brief instruction on the fundamentals of this programme within Blackboard.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would suggest taking advantage of Blackboard’s suite of services specifically tailored for higher education institutions. These can be extremely beneficial in creating an effective and engaging learning environment, as well as providing student tracking and analytics tools. With the right setup, Blackboard Learn can provide a powerful experience that meets all of your learning needs.

What differentiates Blackboard Learn from other similar products?

By using Blackboard in our company we have been able to train all our employees on topics that concern their jobs, since we use it is much easier to teach our employees about processes and how they should handle them, plus many ways on how to improve their performance and even giving motivational talks and classes that impact their productivity and the constant improvement of the organization.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The tool for importing files is quite good, it works very quickly and does not present errors of any kind as we have experienced in similar platforms, which is quite appreciated. It is very easy to use and employees adapt quickly and can even create classes among themselves for use and training of newer staff. The customer support service is quite good.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The user interface could be improved and made more intuitive as it is sometimes difficult to access some functions that are quite simple. Implementing it was a bit tricky at first due to it requiring a cloud based SaaS style integration which we were not prepared for influencing an extra expense that was not scheduled. Blackboard is slightly expensive compared to other options that are even free.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a pretty good tool and is presented as an alternative to other similar platforms, despite working properly, I consider that there are better options on the market at lower prices and with the same utility, it would be good to evaluate how it behaves over time and if it is worth to continue using it and paying for it, at the moment we are migrating to another similar tool to see how it goes and if it is worth it.
