What differentiates Alteryx from other similar products?

It is so intuitive, and easy to use. After some basic training I was able to pick it up and do some very powerful ETL items.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is the power Alteryx has when processing data. It is so quick which makes development much easier.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Hard to say. The data connectors could be a little better and easier to use. Connecting to ODBC for example is easy but selecting columns from tables is not intuitive as you can not search for them.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Give it a try. It is super easy to pick up and well worth the time.

What differentiates Alteryx from other similar products?

Ease of use and breadth of features available. Also, Alteryx has implemented something for parallel processing because I can see it running many operations in parallel instead of running them one-by-one, making the processes extremely fast. This also means that it is able to handle big datasets without requiring equivalent RAM if you have good enough disk space.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Parallel processing of tasks making it fast and efficient

What do you dislike most about this product?

Many operations require individual steps to be added, lengthening the flow. Macros are a bit difficult to understand and implement.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Good product to replace all data analytics need of any org making even business users capable of quickly doing their own analysis
