What differentiates Alteryx from other similar products?

Alteryx is a user-friendly tool as compared to other ETL tools in the market. A person with good analytical thinking can easily ramp up on alteryx and can start adding benefits to the business.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I really love the easy data integration and a wide variety of tools that simplify the data preparation and transformation. A widely used feature is the output tool that allows me to publish my data set in the Tableau Hyper extract, which can be directly consumed in Tableau for Data Visualization.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only downside I see is the price. Alteryx is much pricey as compared to other Data Preparation tools available in the market.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I'd definitely recommend this tool to someone who is not willing to invest some of their time in learning. As this is a really simple tool for anyone from a beginner to an advanced user.

What differentiates Alteryx from other similar products?

Great ETL features, easy integration with 3rd party data sources, intuitive UI, in memory data model is really good

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The live connection to 3rd oarty / external data sources really helps to get real time insights.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Workflow scheduler, data integration capabilities could be better, visualization capabilities are poor.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It has a trial version so before you purchase it, give it a try to see if it is a good fit.

What differentiates Alteryx from other similar products?

Its an smart Data analytics Platform tool with less cost for small projects. Pipeline or jobs to load data from source to target is easy to setup compared to other similar tools. Leass complication compared to other tool. Cost wise is good and it is easy to install compared to other tools. It is an open source so it can be used well by beginners for POC.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Have some good features compared to other similar tools. Cost is less and very effective tool. Performs well for large datasets. less connectivity issues. Has good documentations for learners.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Consumes much time sometime to pull the data from source to target, Has face some network issue during data transformations. Takes more time during peak hours. Support for cloud services is bad and don't have many options to connect multiple cloud services.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For POC and small project it is highly recommended and Cost is also ok compared to other similar tools in market. Supports well as it has some good features and can be used well for client project as it has some good security features.
