What differentiates Alemba Service Manager from other similar products?
As far as I can tell, it has got many features.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's stable, predictable and has all the features we need.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Customisation can be extremely hard, especially seeing as I'm not the person who implemented this system. Things like workflow branching took me a long time to understand. Some things require me to change things in 2, 3 or even 4 different places in order to change 1 thing. Modifying call types, quick solutions or the text content of request/task templates? Done in under a minute. Modifying a workflow so that analysts have one additional field to fill in (Yes/No), affecting branching at one point in the workflow? Takes me 35 minutes to implement and another 30 minutes to test and verify.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Document every decision that is made during implementation. I've inherited a 10-16 year old environment which still largely mystifies me after 3 years.
