What is adam:ONE?
adam:ONE® is a SASE solution focused on Zero Trust connectivity at each network edge. It is compatible with all types of IP network deployments, on-premise or cloud-centric. The system functions without agents, tunnels, proxies or the need to break encryption and is thus also effective for OT. Some of the core elements are: dynamic machine driven allowlisting; egress control by preventing traffic that did not originate with a permitted DNS query, using Don’t Talk to Strangers (DTTS)® and threat intelligence aggregation (DNSharmony®).

What differentiates adam:ONE from other similar products?
When we were looking for a new firewall solution. We looked at several common products/vendors. Adam:One stood out from the pack in how they took time to really explain the value of their zero-trust system, and how easy it was to set up and maintain. The feature set just looked plain better than most of the competitors and you could see that they really believed in their product.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
For interfacing with the I like the dashboard. It provides a lot of information but isn't difficult to work with. Also, whenever we need support, they are always available to help.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I wouldn't call it dislike exactly but we've had some hiccups with the Adam:One assist plugin. Generally, it works fine but a few users have had issues. Though some of that was user error.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Talk to the guys at Adam Networks, read the white papers they have made. It's a good system; I like the idea of curating the web for our users and stopping stuff that may be inside the network from getting out without permission. The dashboard can be a bit daunting at first but the crew at Adam Networks really will be there to help.
