Info-Tech Research Group names Ceridian Dayforce HCM, UltiPro, and Workday Human Capital Management among HCM Gold Medalists

Toronto, ON – December 18th, 2017 –Software Reviews, a division of world-class research and advisory firm Info-Tech Research Group Inc., published the 2017 HCM Data Quadrant Awards and Report today. The report identifies three leaders in the HCM software space: Ceridian Dayforce HCM, UltiPro, and Workday Human Capital Management. These three offerings emerged as the overall market leaders based on the detailed feedback of 676 reviews from experienced HCM reviewers.

Dayforce HCM, which earned the leadership position in the report, is Ceridian’s flagship platform. "Dayforce performed strongly with respondents, particularly in areas of intuitiveness and usability, and the breadth of functionality available,” said Info-Tech HCM analyst Ilia Maor. “Overall, consistently high scores across other criteria indicate customers are overwhelmingly pleased with Ceridian's HRIS offering from both a functional and technical standpoint, which aligns well with the concerted effort the organization has been focused on executing over the last few years."

Unlike traditional software awards, Data Quadrant Awards are based solely on experienced user reviews and are determined by a transparent proprietary methodology that is available in full in Software Reviews’ 2017 HCM Software Report, also published today.

About Data Quadrant Awards and Software Reports

Software Reviews’ Data Quadrant Gold Medal Awards recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace as evaluated by their users. Gold Medals represent the capstone of our in-depth software evaluation reports, and are awarded based on a composite score that encapsulates performance in four areas of evaluation:  Vendor Capabilities, Product Features, Likeliness to Recommend, and Emotional Footprint.  (The Emotional Footprint score measures user sentiment toward the vendor based on whether or not they are perceived to be trustworthy, respectful, fair, etc.).

Data Quadrants are based entirely on user review data and are free of traditional “magical” components such as market presence and analyst opinion, which are opaque in nature and may be influenced by vendor pressure, financial or otherwise.
