CrowdStrike Introduces CrowdStrike Store to Third-Party Applications

Falcon clients have the opportunity to optimize their security stack through pre-built and trusted third-party applications. This significantly alleviates the performance, operational, and integration overhead placed on security teams and businesses.

CrowdStrike Store is a centralized database of trusted third-party applications that enables clients to try, purchase, and deploy applications alongside the Falcon Platform from a single security cloud platform.

Benefits include:

  1. Piloting and/or buying new security tools without having to adopt new infrastructure or additional agents.
  2. Pre-built and tested applications that can be trusted and used with the Falcon Platform immediately.
  3. A streamlined data analysis approach that enables an “extract-and-collect once, use everywhere” model. That is, instead of utilizing disparate applications and collecting the same telemetry on different platforms, the CrowdStrike Security Cloud centralizes the process to a single source to align datasets across applications.
  4. Easy to find, categorized applications accessible from the Falcon management console.

Our Take

CloudStrike has simplified vendor partnerships and application integration and orchestration for their customers. Do your due diligence in reviewing the service-level agreement with CrowdStrike. Focus on who is responsible when an application deployed from the CrowdStrike Store (“third-party, third-party” application) is breached.
