Our Take

Centric’s push to enable organizations to collaborate remotely at all stages of the product lifecycle is a strong example of where the enterprise application market will be focusing development efforts throughout the extenuating circumstances resulting from COVID-19. As remote work becomes the new norm, vendors will continue to offer collaboration tools that enable organizations to mimic existing workflows without actually having face-to-face meetings with colleagues.

Typically, organizations are advised to limit software customization and adapt their processes to align with best-of-breed software workflows. However, organizations have not had the time to optimize processes for social distancing and remote collaboration. Therefore, Centric Software’s multi-leveled offering, based on organizational digital maturity, will be the way forward with vendors that are advertising rapid implementation and adoption.
