What differentiates Trend Micro Apex One from other similar products?

The way they use predictive analytics and machine learning to detect threats and correlate that data. Trend micro also looks at all the ports and communication on the end point when looking for signs of compromise where some other products only consider the most common ports.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The visibility and risk score report that is generated and shows what clients are most at risk and that it also looks at vulnerabilities and missing updates.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It’s an excellent product and easy to use however since it’s cloud based there are always changes and new features to learn which can be challenging to keep up with.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take advantage of the free trial and try out the product. Also go through the features with an engineer to truly understand the power of these tools and what is offered.

What differentiates Trend Micro Apex One from other similar products?

This device offers excellent overall capabilities, particularly in terms of application management skills, thanks to an advanced security system that protects physical and virtual workstations against known and unknown threats using integrated intrusion detection and prevention technologies.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to execute protections using updated signatures is one of the system's most intriguing features. In contrast to our previous position, Trend Micro now provides signatures that specifically target threats, including zero-day assaults. When a vulnerability is detected, this method also has the advantage of being able to undertake advanced patching

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has a lot of installation issues at first, which is a pain for first-time users; however, given its price, it should have fewer installation issues.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start using Trend Micro Deep Security from the start for server protection deployment, and don't bother use enterprise security suite to cut down the migrations process
