My favorite aspect of Solid Edge is its strong 2D drafting capabilities, which make it ideal for users transitioning from traditional 2D CAD software like AutoCAD. It offers precise drawing tools, intelligent dimensioning, and support for DWG/DXF files, enabling users to create and edit detailed 2D layouts with ease. This is especially valuable for industries that still rely heavily on 2D documentation or need to integrate legacy drawings into modern 3D workflows.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One common drawback of Solid Edge is its limited third-party plugin ecosystem compared to more widely adopted platforms like SolidWorks.

What differentiates Solid Edge from other similar products?

The main thing is its prize. It comes with very less price. Its good for startups and companies were limited design capabilities are required for designing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Synchronous modeling is one of the important tools which allows to modify the non-parametric data easily

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is not much capable to handle the large assemblies. It takes time to load the heavy part files.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Good for initial level, but cannot be relay on it for heavy design work.
