What differentiates SailPoint Identity Security Cloud from other similar products?

Reliable, true SaaS platform. Features are well tested and work when released. Roadmap is very clear. Identity model is well designed and easy to extend to additional applications once you have established your Identity Profiles.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Identity Model. Reliability. Consistent application integration experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Industry standard features are slow to roll out. There are many features of the old on-prem product (IdentityIQ) that are still not available in the IdentityNow. Some weird quirks when trying to establish connections to non-standard applications that sometimes require Professional Services to write rules for authentication because basic variable and string handling is not available. Too many existing features are unavailable in the UI and still require API calls to enable/disable/update/manage.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Very robust and reliable SaaS platform. If you don't need heavy customization for your business or IT processes, there is not a better product on the market. If you do have a process or use case that IdentityNow cannot solve, I think it's worth asking if that process or use case is really worth keeping.

What differentiates SailPoint Identity Security Cloud from other similar products?

SailPoint IdentityNow offers great features like role based, password and Account management and identify the risk and security issues also it provides recommendations to users so they can decide access should be granted or not.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It helps us analyse peer groups and multiple access related issues and quickly filter security and compliance issues. The tool allows users to protect access of there cloud applications like Azure.

What do you dislike most about this product?

In certification it should include more information related to levels of access granted and the cost can be reduced a bit.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SailPoint IdentityNow is performing great and meeting our expectations and helps us ensures all policies are being followed also helps us access to systems based of individual roles assigned.
