Cyberhaven stands out for its data lineage tracking, context-aware detection, and strong insider threat protection. Its interface is clean, easy to use, and the real-time insights are better than most traditional DLP tools I've seen.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Cyberhaven is its ability to track the full journey of sensitive data through data lineage. It gives deep visibility into how data is created, accessed, modified, and shared — which is extremely helpful for identifying potential data leaks or insider threats. This feature is powerful, easy to use, and far beyond what traditional DLP tools offer.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While Cyberhaven is a powerful platform, one thing I dislike is that the policy customization options can feel limited for more complex use cases. It would be helpful to have more advanced rule-building capabilities and greater flexibility in defining actions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're considering Cyberhaven, clearly define the types of data you want to protect before implementation. What differentiates Cyberhaven Data Detection & Response from other similar products?

Cyberhaven is different because it doesn't just look at where sensitive data is—it tracks where the data came from and how it got there.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best part is its data lineage tracking. It gives full visibility into how data flows through the organization, from origin to destination. This makes incident investigation much clearer and faster, and helps us understand why a policy was triggered.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The UI could be more polished in some areas, especially for first-time users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Cyberhaven is a great fit for organizations that want to go beyond basic DLP and focus on insider risk and data context. Make sure your security team is prepared to spend some time upfront learning the platform—it’s worth it.
