What differentiates Concrete CMS from other similar products?
This is the best CMS I've ever used, and I've used WordPress, Joomla, Squarespace, Wix, and many more. It is feature-rich, has everything you need out of the box, and rarely requires a lot of plugins. It was made with the user in mind, making it both easy to use and complex enough to serve as a foundation for further development.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is entirely expandable and adaptable, and ready to use straight out of the box. Also, our clients enjoy managing and updating their websites daily. Any Linux (LAMP stack) server that supports Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, or any other platform can run Concrete5. Our clients like working on the websites that Concrete5 powers. Everything from specific webpages to unique, complicated applications can benefit significantly from Concrete5.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Development support is limited, making receiving assistance for rare or undocumented difficulties difficult. Development documentation needs to be updated to cover all functionality and API fully. Managing several versions of pages on huge company websites to ensure quality. Granting individuals access and allowing them to update their own section of the website.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The platform offers fine-grained permissions management and is safe. Internationalization is also handled for individuals that require the ability to show their websites in several languages. There are self-hosting and Concrete5 hosting choices, and user-level upkeep is typically simple to control. Concrete5 is undoubtedly the ideal blend of strength and usability to enable sites to be deployed fast at an affordable price.
