What differentiates CisionOne from other similar products?

For me, the Client Support team within CisionOne is what really sets them apart. My account manager Georgie is always efficient, supportive, and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. While the reporting features and widgets are also a standout, it's the human elements of the software that really make a difference, ensuring I have tailored reporting metrics that allow me to get the best out of my role.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

As I previously mentioned, the reporting aspects of the software are really beneficial in allowing me to demonstrate the true ROI and value of PR to senior stakeholders. The outreach function is also super easy to use, and was a lifesaver when I took over this area of PR from our previous agency. I also enjoy the training that CisionOne offers as part of the product - I've found these to be really beneficial to enhancing my knowledge and experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There have been a couple of times where GA4 has stopped integrating into our dashboard without prior knowledge. However, the IT team are always on hand to support, so this has always been fixed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want easy-to-use software that makes PR monitoring and reporting a breeze, then CisionOne is 100% the software for you. The layout of each function is presented clearly and is and simple to understand, so even if you're a complete novice, you become an expert in no time. They're continuously improving their service, and there are always new developments/automations added. Your Client Support team are also on hand for absolutely any queries you may have, so all-round it's a great service - a very happy customer!

What differentiates CisionOne from other similar products?

Cision stands out thanks to its many its features and overall depth compared to other tools on the market. It covers most of my monitoring and publishing needs in a single platform. The AI assistant is also a strong addition, it helps with content and insights suggestion is almost always spot on. Compared to other solutions I’ve tested, it is by far the most complete, both in terms of data and functionality.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The richness of the platform is clearly its biggest strength. There are many features that support many different use cases, from media monitoring to outreach and reporting. Customer support is also very responsive and helpful when needed. In addition, regular webinars make it easier to go deeper into specific features and continuously improve how you use the platform, which is needed to really master the tool.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The main downside is usability. Because the platform is so feature-rich, it can take time to fully understand and use it efficiently. It is not always the most intuitive tool, and some features are not very user-friendly. Even after several months of use, it feels like there are still capabilities that I underuse simply because they are not easy to discover or master.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be prepared to invest time upfront to really learn the platform. It can be used as plug-and-play tool, but the effort to customize it to you company needs pays off in the long run. Take advantage of the webinars and customer support to accelerate onboarding. Once you get familiar with it, it can save significant time, but it requires commitment at the beginning to unlock its full potential.
