What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The most compelling feature of Alteryx is how it empowers non-technical users to automate sophisticated data workflows using a drag‑and‑drop interface, reducing manual effort while accelerating insight delivery. It complements high-powered analytics with a strong support community and the ability to embed Python or R for further flexibility—bridging technical and business users elegantly

What do you dislike most about this product?

The biggest drawbacks are its high licensing costs and resource-intensive performance—especially with large or complex workflows, which can slow down or crash the system. Critically, the user experience can feel dated, documentation often lags behind updates, and enterprise components like Server or scheduling can remain problematic.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need powerful, visual ETL, automation, and analytics in one platform—and can justify the investment—Alteryx is a top-notch choice.
