Powerful but slow forms

What differentiates 123FormBuilder from other similar products?
It is a mature product with a wide range of options. For example, it is possible to create online examinations, assigning points to each correct answer and letting the student know the correct answers. Even adding a count-down clock. At the same time, the set-up can be a bit complex. There is a support chat, but now always works in my experience. Also, some forms feel like an outdated design, and the forms load slowly (according to Google speed tests). Therefore, I would not use it for user cases such as lead capture, but yes, for more academic purposes or in depth reviews.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Even when the forms do not have the fancy design and the loading speed of other tools, they have a professional look that can be enough in an academic context. There are many types of fields that can be added to the forms. The company is very focused on doing only forms, so that is a clear positive. Being located in the European Union (Romania) they are more easily compliant with GDRP. They have a large team, that makes them more solid in terms of development of features.
What do you dislike most about this product?
They have a complex and changing deal terms structure, and even when I am on a paid plan, I never seem to have the right plan to do what I want. For example, I need to upgrade to use webhooks. I wish that it could be more simple, that the chat support did not break.It would be good if forms were loaded faster. So, even when the tool is powerful in terms of features and professional look, I may go for simpler and faster solutions.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you need it because the features that you want are not available in other newer solutions, it can be a good choice. For example, a count-down timer, and the option to show the right answers. Also, good GDPR compliance is a plus. At the same time, during the last few years, many new companies have been created in the field of online forms. And there is also the good old Google Forms with a nice free version (that I see most companies use).

What differentiates 123FormBuilder from other similar products?
We were intent on using wix, so we did not look at other products because 123formbuilder was in our price range and did the job we wanted it to do.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Easy to reproduce similar registration forms once you have the basics in place.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Mtg.Reg. emails-didn't know which to put them in-Wix or 123 formbuilder , so i put them in both, so i probably did double the work . Also, the self-service help files need better documentation.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Be flexible and don't flail in diy land too long if you are having problems/confusion. The customer support is awesome and if you have time, you can just email back and forth and they can help you in their time, but even so, they are really speedy with a fix or explanations you may need.
