Toronto, ON – October 12th, 2018 – Software Reviews, a division of world-class research and advisory firm Info-Tech Research Group Inc., published its 2018 Data Analytics Data Quadrant Awards, naming two Gold Medalists in the space: Tableau and Information Builders WebFOCUS.
Software Reviews’ Data Quadrant awards are created entirely from expert-user feedback. Vendors are evaluated by IT leaders, business professionals and end-users, examining relative performance across two axis: Product Features & Satisfaction and Vendor Experience & Capabilities.
The Data Analytics category branches out of Business Intelligence software. The vendors featured in the category offer a unique set of tools to their customers, with many vendors being featured in both categories. Based on the data collected, Tableau and WebFOCUS represent market leaders in an emerging and evolving space.
The category’s two Gold Medalists exemplified unique strengths in their respective offerings. Tableau demonstrated exceptional Vendor Experience and Capability scoring, which moved them to the far right of the Data Quadrant. Conversely, WebFOCUS showed its’ strength in Product Features, moving them upwards on the Quadrant.
About Data Quadrant Awards and Software Reports
Software Reviews Data Quadrant Awards are awarded annually to recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace as evaluated by their users.
