Software Reviews names Solarwinds, Micro Focus and IBM its’ Data Quadrant Gold Medalists for Application Performance Management software

Toronto, ON – October 18, 2018 – Software Reviews, a division of world-class research and advisory firm Info-Tech Research Group Inc., published its 2018 Application Performance Management (APM) Data Quadrant Awards, naming three Gold Medalists in the space: Solarwinds Server & Application Monitoring, Micro Focus Application Performance Management and IBM Cloud Application Performance Management.

Software Reviews’ Data Quadrant awards are created entirely from expert-user feedback.  Vendors are evaluated by IT leaders, business professionals and end-users, examining relative performance across two axis: Product Features & Satisfaction and Vendor Experience & Capabilities.

The APM category is a sub-category of the Application Development and Management umbrella. Established through automated analysis of unbiased and raw data, Solarwinds, Micro Focus and IBM stand out as market leaders in a space that is rapidly growing through consolidation.

The APM category’s Gold Medalists exhibit their ability to address the overall market need through robust features, business capabilities and strong service components. Through the data collected, each gold medalist displayed unique strengths that set them apart from other vendors in the category.

Both Solarwinds and Micro Focus’ products demonstrated incomparable business and service experience, placing them farther right on the Vendor Experience and Capabilities axis.  On the other hand, customers ranked IBM’s Product Features & Satisfaction higher - moving the vendor upwards on the Data Quadrant.

About Data Quadrant Awards and Software Reports
