What differentiates Workiva Platform from other similar products?
Simplicity of the platform. It delivers what it promises as long as you also have the discipline to fully utilise it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like that we can easily interface with other software. Connectors to Oracle and our DataWarehouse. Setting specific times for queries to run and then push through the data to your spreadsheets. Workiva has made my life easier while I was in Commercial Reporting. I automated my reports from the database right through to the presentation. Click of a few buttons and it was done.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The Excel and Powerpoint version on Workiva could be a bit more robust like the actual MS versions, which would make my reports look better and easier to transition into the new system. Excel needs more MS Excel formulas and Powerpoint more MS Powerpoint functionality with Charts.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Go through a full demo with Workiva. Contact some other customers that allow that and get their personal story and experience.
