What differentiates Looker from other similar products?

It is very easy to use, in particular for teams and individuals that do not have a background in SQL, coding or analytics. It is very easy to create custom reports, connect multiple data sources and display the data in aesthetically pleasing ways.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Being able to look at a Look, report or piece of data and understand exactly how this view has been created, using specific dimensions, measures and filters. It makes it super easy to learn and understand how everything is structured.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some limitation to design and customisation of reports. If you create tables of data through merging queries and or custom fields you cannot always display everything in the order you may want. Also the column headers are always displayed on one line so if the name is long it can be cut off.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Looker is easy to use and roll out to wider stakeholders to help self serve data for your business. You are able to link dashboards to one another and set up automated reports that can be sent to email groups, slack channels and other destinations. A great way to understand how your business is performing and be able to drill down into data points of interest.

What differentiates Looker from other similar products?

Looker has made it easier for us to collect, visualize, analyze and generally manage large amounts of data through a single platform. It has helped us find patterns and problems, as well as ways to solve them through the use of data. Their customer service is exceptional and they have a good support community that iterates often about the software and use cases.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love it, it is uncomplicated and has very good capabilities to make life easier for BI teams. I like that it is so customizable and able to compile large amounts of data with unique speed. The customer service is very good, as is their online support community. Overall, I am pleased with Looker, its analytical capabilities, its data management and all that it provides to our organization.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It imposes a learning curve at first, but this is easy to overcome. On the other hand, the processes can be prolonged depending on the traffic.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When we talk about good BI management, analysis and distribution it is inevitable to think of Looker and recommend it to friends and colleagues.

What differentiates Looker from other similar products?

According to me, the most effective factor I experienced with Looker is their technical support team which is incredibly much helpful. They supply the resolution for the problems at intervals in the given frame of time. Apart from that, the program is very user-friendly, straightforward to understand, and to work with even by any beginner. Here, we can simply set up the dashboard and graphs with smart customization options and fantastic templates as compared to alternative different software.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It’s very simple to create good and engaging dashboards using this platform. The UI and ux are easy to use. The base of this platform permits you to observe and keep track of all the activities and progress of your business. It helps in sourcing the relevant data into the records that your business must take relevant decisions. The most effective factor is that we can produce or modify reports using the SQL syntax effortlessly. The dashboards may be created and customised according to the requirements of the user. The filtering and pivoting of the info are quite straightforward using its tools within the dashboard.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Generally it responds slowly whenever we attempt to operate it in low-end devices and work on over 2 or 3 aspects at constant time. It desires some improvising and smart updates to form its integration with active directories. Some tools need to be updated and improved for generating far better charts and reports with their data processing feature. Also, it needs additional information source connections to keep it more active.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Overall, it’s an incredible tool for data visualization and making dashboards. Primarily we are happy with the performance and swish experience using this platform. It helps in analyzing and resourcing the info and reports. It’s recommended.
