What differentiates Sumo Logic Cloud SIEM from other similar products?

Sumo Logic is used for historical analysis since it is very trustworthy and adaptable. Sumo Logic has enabled us to produce warnings in the event of log file failures, which we are continually channeling for additional historical research. Sumo Logic has been extremely beneficial since it not only reduced our burden by consolidating the incoming log stream from several servers into a single platform, but it also assisted greatly in spotting patterns and trends based on the incoming data. As a result, we have fantastic insights and can base our final decision on facts.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It features a virtual panel for real-time activity monitoring. It is easily accessible and has a straightforward user interface. Sumo Logic provides a somewhat flexible REST API for things like log sources, source preferences, dashboard information, and searches. Sumo Logic also interfaces effortlessly with the majority of cloud providers. We have a dashboard built up that keeps track of all the services operating on the various servers, such as how many hits the service received, response time, service failures, and so on. We have a staff that is solely responsible for reading data from the Sumo Logic machine.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The syntax and logic required to build complicated searches within the tool need a significant amount of effort and technical knowledge. Retrieving archived files is a challenging operation because if the file size is enormous and it has been archived for a long period, the connection may be disrupted or the screen may freeze. New real-time records take a while to display on the screen or dashboard, which can be an issue for high-volume, mission-critical applications.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Sumo Logic is ideal if you already have a flat log file on your machine or if your applications and utilities are not injecting vital information into your papers. Sumo Logic is the finest accessible solution on the market for log management and machine data analysis platform. The more organizations, customer permissions, and personnel in the database, the easier it is to administer and utilize. Give it a shot; you'll notice a difference, especially if you have a good infrastructure.
